Happy Halloween! The Neligh-Oakdale Junior/Senior High celebrated by handing out candy to different businesses and community members in Neligh. This activity was done as a part of the school's OLWEUS "anti-bullying" program. The students' walked around town with their OLWEUS teacher and wished many people a happy Halloween. Students were encouraged to dress up in a costume, and some groups had a theme, such as chefs or "Family Feud" participants.
The NOEA has choosen August and September's "Friend of Education award". Thank you to Haley Kerkman for painting the beautiful mural in the elementary hallway. Also, thank you to Jesse Green for helping at all the home football games. Thanks again for volunteering your time!
Thursday May 16th, there will be an attendance day which will reward students for good attendance and grades. The last day of the school year is Friday May, 17th. There will be a noon dismissal. Have a great summer everyone!
