2020 State Wrestling ticket order forms are in the high school office. Order forms with payment need to be returned to the high school office by Friday, November 22. 

Please make check’s out to N-O Wrestling Club. Please do not include the CHI handling fee for $6.50.

Any student who is thinking of changing a class at semester please see Mrs. Knust before November 22. I just want to see what students are thinking of doing.

We will have a Junior Class meeting at 7:30 in Mrs. Jacob’s room on Friday. We will be discussing Prom. If you don’t have an opinion you do not need to attend. 

Careers on Friday is 8th grade 2nd period and 7th grade 4th period. Have your computers just in case.

If you are interested in a Casey’s Pizza/Donut cards and were unable to get in  contact with one of the volleyball players, I do have some extras. The pizza cards are $15 each and you get a free medium one topping pizza with the purchase of a large specialty pizza. Seniors: Students interested in pursuing a career in law → Wayne State College, in a partnership with the University of Nebraska College of Law, offers the Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP). To be considered for this program, prospective students must be a rural Nebraska resident demonstrating strong academic potential and be looking at entering a career in law. If an applicant is successfully selected, recipients of the RLOP scholarship will earn a full tuition scholarship to Wayne State College and guaranteed admission to the Nebraska College of Law. In order to apply, you must be admitted to Wayne State College and submit an online application fulfilling WSC’s parameters at www.wsc.edu/rlop . The application deadline is December 1, 2019. Interviews for selected candidates will be held on December 11, 2019.

Wear jeans and chapter shirt or button up shirt.  Dress warm (coats, hats, gloves). We will be inside but the arena is not heated. We will be back before the end of the school day.

N-O Teammates is hosting the Rafts of Crafts fair on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10am-3pm.  Forty-five vendors will be in the gym and a soup luncheon with chili, chicken noodle, vegetable beef, and potato soups available as well as sandwiches and dessert.  We'd love to see students, staff, and families there!

Our Local Teammates Chapter is sponsoring a speaker from the North Central District Health Department. She will be speaking to our students today about vaping and its effects on our bodies.

3:00 - 3:30 11th and 12th graders

3:45 - 4:15 Faculty and Staff

She will also be putting on a presentation for parents and other concerned adults. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the gym.

The football play-off game Wednesday, November 6th is in Cambridge. Game time is 1:30 p.m. There will be NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, November 6th. If you would like to ride a spirit bus to the game, there is a sign-up sheet in the office. The cost to ride is $10. Students will also have to pay $5 for admission at the game. If we do not have 30 people sign up by Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., we will not be able to provide a spirit bus.

FFA: Fruit sales are due ASAP due to no school on the Wednesday, November 6th due date. Please turn in packets with ALL money to Ms. Bohling.  Do not leave them in the Ag room if Ms. Bohling is not present.

Seniors: Students interested in pursuing a career in law → Wayne State College, in a partnership with the University of Nebraska College of Law, offers the Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP). To be considered for this program, prospective students must be a rural Nebraska resident demonstrating strong academic potential and be looking at entering a career in law. If an applicant is successfully selected, recipients of the RLOP scholarship will earn a full tuition scholarship to Wayne State College and guaranteed admission to the Nebraska College of Law. In order to apply, you must be admitted to Wayne State College and submit an online application fulfilling WSC’s parameters at www.wsc.edu/rlop . The application deadline is December 1, 2019. Interviews for selected candidates will be held on December 11, 2019.

Parents: Report cards have been mailed home for students in grades 7-12. Along with other information. Please be on the lookout for the report cards in your mailbox.

The one-act team will be leaving tomorrow (November 5th) before 6am. One-act students, please be on time!

N-O Teammates is hosting the Rafts of Crafts fair on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10am-3pm.  Forty-five vendors will be in the gym and a soup luncheon with chili, chicken noodle, vegetable beef, and potato soups available as well as sandwiches and dessert.  We'd love to see students, staff, and families there!

Our Local Teammates Chapter is sponsoring a speaker from the North Central District Health Department. She will be speaking to our students on Tuesday, November 5th about vaping and its effects on our bodies.

She will also be putting on a presentation for parents and other concerned adults. The presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the gym.

The football play-off game Wednesday, November 6th is in Cambridge. Game time is 1:30 p.m. There will be NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, November 6th. If you would like to ride a spirit bus to the game, there is a sign-up sheet in the office. The cost to ride is $10. Students will also have to pay $5 for admission at the game. If we do not have 30 people sign up by Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., we will not be able to provide a spirit bus.

FFA: Fruit sales are due ASAP due to no school on the Wednesday, November 6th due date. Please turn in packets with ALL money to Ms. Bohling.  Do not leave them in the Ag room if Ms. Bohling is not present. 

FFA: Members interested in Livestock Judging-- Practices will be held on Tuesday right after school in the Ag Room.  Thursday practice time TBA. 

Cross Country: Please return all uniforms and team warm-ups to Coach Bohling ASAP. Year-end meeting time TBD.

Real Reptiles will be in the Neligh-Oakdale gym on Thursday, November 21 from 5:30-6:30.  Will Abler will bring several reptiles and present a program for families. This is one of our Title Nights for the year.  All are welcome to attend. If you have questions, please contact Jennifer Korus.

Students interested in traveling to Washington D.C. and New York City in 2021, please get in touch with Mr. Larsen. The trip is open to students currently in grades 8-11 and any parent of a student who wishes to travel on this tour.
