Boys Basketball Season Preview

The Neligh-Oakdale Boys Basketball Team is set to kick off it's 2018-2019 season. The Warriors have started practice and will be playing in less than two weeks. N-O FFA Participate in Livestock Evaluation

On Wednesday, November 14th fourteen Neligh-Oakdale FFA members traveled to the Valley County Fairgrounds in Ord to participate in the District X Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event. Members judged seven classes of livestock including market steers, breeding gilts, market hogs, bulls, breeding does, market sheep and breeding ewes. Neligh-Oakdale celebrates Veterans Day by having an assembly with former veterans from the military and with guest speaker, Calvin McCloy. He spoke about what had happened to him during his 21 years of service under the ARMY. With two touching events that had happened to him as a sniper and also what happened to him while saving his platoon from a fire that had started from an IED. Red Ribbon Week Promotes Drug-Free Living at NOPS

Saying no to drugs was the motto last week at NOPS. Friday, students lined up to sign the pledge to stay drug free as part of National Red Ribbon Week. The Red Ribbon campaign first started in the late 80's after the death of a DEA agent. During all of last week, students learned about how to live a drug-free and healthy lifestyle through many fun activities.

Wrestling Fundraiser Begins

The Neligh-Oakdale wrestling team has started their fundraiser on Thursday, November 8th, and will be selling up to the 26th of this month. They are selling a variety of popcorn and a pretzel sampler.
