Bryson tied for 2nd with an 80 but finished the tie breaker with 3rd. Chase got 8th with a 86. Team finished as team champions with a 355.

Neligh Rescue spent Thursday with West Ward students in advance of EMS Week. Members of the squad educated the students on ambulances and care, ate lunch at West Ward, and played with students at recess! Thanks for a great day, Neligh Rescue!










Second graders ended their Unit Study on immigration and citizenship with a presentation from Ginny and Carlos Garzon. Ginny authored the book "Red, White, and Blue and Venezuelan Too" chronicling her family's citizenship experience.

Today the 3rd graders got to release the butterflies that they have observed for the last month. They watched them grow as tiny caterpillars, form and transform in their chrysalis and finally emerge as beautiful butterflies!

May Day baskets created during the K-6 house activity were delivered by the fifth grade class to downtown businesses. The students enjoyed seeing some familiar faces!

Students in the fifth grade had the opportunity to learn about aviation from guest speakers Denny Maple & Andrew Heithoff, who shared their passion & knowledge with the class. Stay updated with us for more pictures next week as the students will get a closer look at an aircraft.
