Asher Kinnan-4th Grade Warrior of the Month for February! Asher always puts forth great effort & is a leader in following directions. He is responsible about completing work & following expectations & always has a great attitude. He is a great model of the Warrior Way!

Kyle Wingate - 3rd Grade Warrior of the Month for February! Kyle is kind and encouraging to her classmates. She is always asking for ways that she can help others. Kyle tries her best and always gets her work done on time!

Charlie Johnson - 2nd Grade Warrior of the Month for February! Charlie is thoughtful and kind, is a good role model for our Warrior friends & takes pride in making the right choices. I appreciate Charlie's growth in the classroom. He's proud & does his best!

Hattie Jonak - 1st Grade Warrior of the Month for February! Hattie is kind to everyone and gives compliments everyday to her friends. She works hard trying to do her personal best and loves to learn.

Hunter Hain - Kindergarten Warrior of the Month for February! Hunter comes to school with a smile on his face, has been showing how to be a responsible warrior in the classroom by getting his work done on time, has a great imagination & likes to create things during choice time.

Navy Forslund - Preschool Warrior of the Month for February! Navy is a friend to everyone. She works hard in class and is very respectful. Navy always come to school with a smile on her face.

Congratulations to Graysen on qualifying for State Speech! He had a perfect final and was the Champion in Humorous Prose for C2-3 Districts!

5th grade is celebrating Reading Across America with a good book and some snacks!

We had a great time with the 1st & 2nd graders over the last 3 months! Keep up the great work!

5th Grade celebrated Read Across America today by bringing a pillow, blanket, snacks, and a good book.

There will be NO Speech Showcase tonight

The 2nd graders stopped by afternoon preschool to read to them for Read Across America Week.

The 6th graders are celebrating their hard work and success from 3rd quarter with River Mill!🎉☀️Way to go, 6th grade!😊

The public is invited to attend a Speech Showcase on Thursday March 7th @ 7:00 pm in the Band Room.

The public is invited to attend the 4th Grade Heritage Day at Neligh-Oakdale School on Wednesday, March 6th. Each 4th grader has gathered many special items in order to share their family's heritage. They have also created a 3-D project relating to Nebraska. Visitors are welcome to visit the displays in the gym from 1:30-2:45. Please enter through the lobby doors.

The FFA group had an impressive showing at competition! Of the 4 proficiency's we had qualify for state, 3 were selected as state finalists (this is a HUGE deal!). The students selected as finalists will be honored at a banquet during state convention as well as recognized on stage during general session. Mallory Belitz and Leo Luna-Duran have the opportunity to qualify for nationals, and Abby Kerkman (hers is a Nebraska only category) has the opportunity to be a state champion. Bryson Gadeken was a bronze, which is also very commendable! During our contest at Norfolk on Monday, Mallory was our 3rd high individual in both Ag Sales and Floriculture. The ag sales team was 2nd by 7 points, however we are state bound! The floriculture team missed out on a state qualification by 2 points and ended 6th. Food Science, livestock management, and Sydney Sands (our lone welder!) had really good days respectfully and learned a lot to come back stronger next year.

Rochelle Reinke read aloud to the K-2 students at West Ward this morning to help celebrate Read Across America. She chose a story called BEFORE WE EAT from farm to table .  She represented her family’s business- Reinke’s Farm and City Service located here in Neligh.
