Memphis Stenka - 5th grade Warrior of the Month for November! He always goes out of his way to help his classmates &teacher. He is polite, friendly, & follows classroom directions. Memphis is also regularly seen holding open the door in the morning for students & teachers.
Lena Strom - 4th Grade Warrior of the Month for November! Lena exhibits ALL the Warrior Way expectations! She listens during lessons & completes work independently, always has a positive attitude about whatever comes her way & she shows both peers and adults respect at all times.
Elise Henery - 3rd Grade Warrior of the Month for November! Elise consistently shows what it means to be a respectful, responsible & positive Warrior. She is respectful to her peers & adults in & out of the classroom. She gets her homework done on time & reads in her free time.
Victor Garzon - 2nd grade Warrior of the Month for November! Victor is a very responsible student. I can count on him to complete a task & have it done using his best effort. Victor has shown that he has the ability to be a leader in the classroom. Keep up the good work, Victor!
Nora Henery - 1st grade Warrior of the Month for November! Nora always has a smile on her face! She has a great attitude in class every day, follows teacher directions, and does her best work! She is also a good friend to others.
Ensley Coover - Kindergarten Warrior of the Month for November! Ensley comes to school with a positive attitude. She participates in class, works hard, and strives to do her best.
Mason Kester - Preschool Warrior of the Month for November! Mason is kind and friendly to his classmates. He his helpful and works hard in the classroom.

The 4th graders put their knowledge of NE history and science together today. They learned about the history of communication, including the Pony Express and the telegraph. Then they used their knowledge of electromagnets to create their own telegraph. Students had to decipher each other’s messages using a code. They all seemed to agree that texting on cell phones was a lot easier than figuring out the Morse Code!
