Did you see a turkey around town in November? The Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA Chapter held a fundraiser for the Neligh Food Pantry, where they decorated a turkey in the form of a toilet seat. The hideous turkey would travel around community member yards, where people would have to pay to remove and relocate the toilet turkey. In the duration of this fundraiser the FCCLA Chapter raised $150 for the Food Pantry. The FCCLA Chapter would like to say thank you to everyone who participated.

Check in with Your Friends - it never hurts!
Here is a free online safety guide on checking in with your friends.
Young people need to learn to take care of their minds as well as their bodies. Lots of things can damage the way they feel and think, and it’s more common than people realize – one in every five children, for example, struggles with their mental health. Sending memes, jokes and messages online is easy – but finding the right words to talk to a friend who’s having a hard time can be tricky. Designed to be printed out and displayed in schools, this poster could help your child find the right time – and the right way – to check in with a friend.
